What the site does
We organise public provider information into a consistent format so readers can compare assessment type, age group, appointment format, location and provider-published price. Provider profiles show the sources used and when the record was checked.
What the site does not do
We do not diagnose, provide clinical advice, book appointments or decide whether a report will be accepted. The directory is incomplete, and inclusion is not a recommendation, endorsement or affiliation.
Source hierarchy
- Official Irish sources first: HSE, CORU, Revenue, the Department of Education, the State Examinations Commission, the Data Protection Commission and relevant professional registers for public-service, status and legal-process information.
- Provider sources for provider facts: official provider websites for advertised services, fees, availability and team descriptions.
- Direct confirmation: a provider correction may support an update, but material facts are checked against current evidence before publication.
Provider statements are attributed to the provider. They are not independent proof of quality, suitability or acceptance.
Provider inclusion and exclusion
A provider can be listed when it publishes a current HTTPS website, identifiable assessment services, sufficient evidence for the displayed fields and a review date no more than 60 days old. A listing is withheld or unpublished when evidence is missing, stale, contradictory or unsuitable for neutral presentation.
Listings are free and ordered neutrally. Providers cannot pay for ranking, a recommendation badge or influence over guide content.
Review cycle
Provider evidence is rechecked at least every 60 days. Material public-service and professional-status claims are reviewed against dated sources. Unstable details such as price, waiting time and availability are attributed and readers are told to confirm them directly.
Use of automated tools
Automated tools assist with formatting, link checking, structured-data generation and identifying material that needs review. They do not make clinical decisions, approve providers or replace source checking. Publication and correction decisions are reviewed before pages go live.
Corrections and evidence
Send a factual correction and supporting source to hello@divergent.ie. Providers may also use the provider form. Do not send patient, diagnostic or case information. Submissions do not guarantee publication or placement.
