What to ask for in writing

• Who conducts and signs each stage.
• Whether the quote includes screening, diagnostic assessment, feedback and a written report.
• Whether school or family information is required and included.
• Cancellation, rescheduling and follow-up fees.
• Whether a separate medical review is needed if medication is a goal.

Insurance and tax are not guaranteed

Cover depends on the insurer, policy, professional and service. Revenue says relief is available for qualifying health expenses, generally at the standard rate, but an individual expense must meet the current rules and amounts already reimbursed cannot also be claimed. Confirm your own position with the insurer and Revenue before relying on a saving.
